Jesus doesn’t leave us the same Jesus changes lives!

Our church exists to bring God glory by obeying Jesus' command to make disciples of all nations. We are convinced that a disciple is not just a believer in Jesus, but a follower of Jesus, whose life is gradually changing to reflect Jesus, with the support and encouragement of Christian brothers and sisters.

Jesus doesn’t leave us the same, Jesus changes lives!

We meet every Sunday at 11.15 am & 4.30 pm at 12 Cedar Street in Maleny, Queensland.

What to expect at Maleny Presbyterian

What time is the Sunday service?

9:00am.
Our services run for just under an hour, and normally are followed by coffee, food and conversation.

How do I get there?

We are at 12 Cedar Street in Maleny. Just park on the street.

Is there a dress code?

No. God is interested in your heart, not your wardrobe.

Will I be singled out if I am new?

People will be friendly and will make you feel welcome, but we won’t do anything to make you feel awkward! Most Sundays, there are people just like you who are checking out MP Church for the first time. Our goal is for you to have the best experience possible.

What about my kids?

We love kids and you are more than welcome to bring them with you to church!  All our leaders have Bluecards and meet Australia’s child safety requirements.

What happens during the church service?

Our church service is a time for connecting with God and connecting with one another. We join in song; we pray to God; we read the Bible; and someone gives a talk unpacking and explaining the Bible. We do our best to explain what we’re doing along the way so that everyone knows what’s going on.

What happens after the church service?

Everyone is encouraged to stay for coffee and conversation. This is a great time to get to know some of the great people here at church.

What if I don't know much about God?

Double Great! We would love you to come and discover more about Him. We’ll do our best to make you feel comfortable, explain what’s going on, and we’ll try to avoid using religious jargon. Nothing is as important as having a right relationship with God, and we want to help you figure out how that is possible through Jesus.

What church are you connected with?

We are a part of the Presbyterian Church of Queensland.
